Canvas is a learning management system (LMS) developed by Instructure, Inc and is the chosen learning platform for Unizin. Canvas promotes a cloud-based, open-source environment that offers an easy to use interface to navigate and build course sites. It also offers customizable options such as third-party tool integration (also known as LTIs) for a variety of learning and analytics tools as well as enhanced grading functionality for students and instructors.
